Book Group will meet on Thursday, November 13, at 7:30 a.m., and Friday, November 14, at noon, to discuss Doctored: The Disillusionment of an American Physician by Sandeep Jauhar. Jauhar is also the author of the acclaimed memoir Intern: A Doctor’s Initiation. Both books can be checked out from the library’s collection.
Dr. Jauhar is the director of the Heart Failure Program at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. In addition to his two books, he also has written many articles for The New York Times and other news outlets, a list of which can be found on his website. Boston Children’s Hospital personnel are encouraged to join us in the AV Room in the Library on Thursday, November 13, at 7:30 a.m., or Friday, November 14, at noon, to participate in discussion about this memoir.
