Growing Up Brave 2Donna Pincus, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Director of Research for the Child and Adolescent Fear and Anxiety Treatment Program at Boston University.  In addition to her website, The Child Anxiety Network (http://www.childanxiety.net), she recently published Growing Up Brave. Intended for parents, the book looks at techniques for reducing anxiety and practical ways to help kids deal with stress and fears.

Her Library Lunch Topics presentation will focus on her research on fear, stress and anxiety in children and will cover some of the practical strategies listed in the book.
