Dr. Lisa Wong is a musician and pediatrician, passionate about arts in education and about bringing the community together through music. She incorporates music into her daily life and into the daily care of her patients and believes that music is critical to the development of the whole child.
Additionally, Dr. Wong is the past president of the Longwood Symphony and author of the recently published book, Scales to Scalpels: Doctors Who Practice the Healing Arts of Music and Medicine. Her talk will focus on healing and music and how the two intersect.
