The Boston Public Library is hosting a panel discussion about Doctors Without Borders/Medicins Sans Frontieres (MSF) and its efforts to gain access to populations in crtical need of medical care. This panel, which is comprised of representatives from the MSF and other similar organizations, an will focus on the challenges in negotiating access to those in need and providing services in crisis zones. The panel event will take place in conjunction with a soon-to-be released book entitled Humanitarian Negotiations Revealed: The MSF Experience, which will further explore the intricacies of negotiating access to humanitarian aid in the midst of political and social termoil.
When? Wedensday, February 1st. The event will begin with a reception at 6pm and the discussion will take place at 7pm.
