Nina Sankovitch, author of Tolstoy and the Purple Chair: My Year of Magical Reading, is scheduled to speak at the Harvard Book Store on Wednesday, July 20th at 7pm. Tolstoy and the Purple Chair explores Sankovitch’s life-long relationship with books and also delves into her family narrative. Sankovitch reviews books on her blog “Read All Day” and for the Huffington Post.
