The Centers for Disease Control has released the Sexually Transmitted Diseases Treatment Guidelines 2010, which is an update of the CDC’s 2006 guidelines.  These guidelines appear in the 12/17/10 issue of Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR).

This guideline report includes changes that the CDC made on 1/3/11 to their previous guidelines regarding the dosage information on the treatment of gonococcal infections.  These changes can also be viewed on the CDC’s STD Treatment Guidelines 2010 website.
