The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks: Black History Month Panel & Discussion

In observance of Black History Month, library is hosting a panel & discussion about Rebecca Skloot’s bestseller, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks on Thursday, February 10th, 2011 from 4-5pm in the Gamble Room of the Library.  Panelists include: Jessica Henerson Daniel, PhD, ABPP, Director, Psychology Training Program; Susan Kornetsky, MPH, Director, Clinical Research Compliance; and Christine Mitchell, RN, MS, MTS, Director, Office of Ethics.    The panel will discuss the ethical, personal and economic issues raised in this award-winning book.
